This is truly the end of an era, leaving a legacy of innovative timepieces behind.

As announced officially by RHYTHM Co., Ltd. in Japan on August 28, 2024, RHYTHM has closed its United States subsidiary and distributor, RHYTHM USA, Inc., effective January 1, 2025. This means that Rhythm products are no longer officially imported to North America. This also means that official warranty services have been discontinued. If you have a problem with your clock in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Rhythm has been producing quality clocks and top-of-the-line movements since their inception in 1950. They have even manufactured pieces for other well-established brands, such as Bulova and Howard Miller. You may have owned a Rhythm timepiece without even knowing it! Their success in the OEM market caused them to expand their business to North America by establishing RHYTHM USA, Inc. in 1989. It was also around this time that some of the first Karakuri clocks, also known as Magic Motion clocks, were introduced.

Rhythm's success continued to soar as they introduced some of their most iconic pieces, such as the "DWS Timecracker" in 2000 and "Gadget" in 2014. People all across the world gravitated towards their captivating motion and beautiful melodies.

Unfortunately, things have taken a fall over the past few years. Both the United States and Japan have struggled economically, and the clock market has declined due to the rise of smartphones and other modern technology...not to mention that we also experienced a global pandemic. This has caused Rhythm to shift their focus to other home products, such as humidifiers and handheld fans. They are seeing much more success with these appliances in their home country, and it has helped to introduce their brand to more consumers.

Rhythm has stated that they plan to continue producing and selling their clocks in other countries, as well as continuing to produce movements for other established brands as well. But even if Rhythm's clock division does someday fade away, they will always be remembered by their rich history of amazing timepieces.
