Warranties, Returns, & Refunds

As a small business, we are unfortunately unable to offer all benefits that larger retailers such as Amazon and Wayfair do, but we are always here to assist and provide personalized customer service to you. We have been immersed in the world of clocks for over 20 years, and we are passionate about each and every timepiece you see on our website and across our social media channels. Our ultimate goal is to spread the joy and happiness that these pieces have brought us for so many years. If you have any questions or concerns at all, don't hesitate to contact us!

Warranties

We offer warranties on all clocks purchased from us. We inspect and test each and every timepiece, new or pre-owned, both before listing and before shipment. Our warranties cover any mechanical defects, such as inaccurate timekeeping or hourly chimes not playing. Please contact us for assistance and troubleshooting, as your clock may have a simple fix! We are always here to help.

Our warranties do not cover the following:

  • Physical imperfections and normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, etc.)
  • Damage from mishandling
  • Damage from climatic conditions
  • Battery leakage and damage from leakage
  • Damage to the glass
  • Consequential damage or loss

New Clocks

Each of our new clocks come with a minimum of a one year warranty from their manufacturer that will cover all mechanical defects. Each new clock will come with a warranty sheet from the manufacturer that will explain their warranty in detail to you.

Timeless Moments will honor all one-year warranties for internal issues on Rhythm clocks, since all warranties on Rhythm products will expire on March 31, 2025. Read here for more information on Rhythm USA's closure.

Pre-Owned Clocks

Our pre-owned clocks come with a 90-day warranty against all internal defects unless directly specified in the description. We test each pre-owned clock for a minimum of 30 days before listing them to ensure that they will work properly. This warranty does not cover any physical damage or imperfections since the clocks are pre-owned, but we do our best to highlight all damage, big or small, in the product images and descriptions of each item. Never hesitate to ask for additional photos or videos of any of our clocks; we are always happy to help!

Returns

If you aren't happy with your purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy. This means that you have 30 days after the shipping carrier's posted delivery date to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your clock must be in the same condition that you received it, fully intact with original tags and stickers if included, and in its original packaging with original packing materials. If your clock meets these requirements, please contact us here or at chevytimelessclocks@gmail.com to initiate a return. You will need your original receipt or proof of purchase, and you will also need to provide detailed photos of the clock to us.

If your return is accepted, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to return your clock to us, as we paid the shipping to get it to you. We recommend using Pirate Ship; it's a free-to-use service that offers the lowest shipping rates for all carriers. We also use it to ship many of our items to you.

If the clock arrives damaged or broken in return shipping to us, it will be ineligible for a refund. We will provide our specialized packing recommendations to you when you contact us to request a return.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as possible upon reception, even if it is a gift for someone else. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your order is past the 30-day window, we may not be able to accept your return.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be given a refund for the cost of your item minus our shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee.

We take returns and refunds very seriously, so we will be sure to get back with you in a timely manner. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want you to get a timepiece that you are happy with.
