Say hello to this vintage Hello Kitty musical wall clock by Citizen, produced by Rhythm, for Sanrio. It was named “Hello Kitty M756” and was one of many Hello Kitty-themed Citizen clocks sold only in Japan. At first glance, this may just look like a cute clock with a pendulum. But at the top of the hour or when the demonstration string is pulled, the clock hands come to life and literally dance along to the music. They make their way all around the clock face until the song is finished, then they return to their original positions as the clock chimes the hour. It plays 6 melodies and strikes the hour in Rhythm’s FM sound.
Notes: This model is used but in very good condition with the original sticker from Japan. The case used to be more of a white-ish pink, but has since yellowed over the years, which is common for these models. There are a few scratches, as shown in photos, but they aren't noticeable unless viewed up close. The light sensor is somewhat sensitive on this one, so you will need to hang it in bright lighting in order for it to go off hourly. I have repaired the pull string and dancing hands, and they both have been working great for quite some time. This is such a fun clock, from its lively melodies and dancing hands to its vibrant Hello Kitty theme. Watch the video to see it in action!
