“Pal Muse Rondeau B” was one of the very first radio-controlled musical clocks released in Japan. The “B” version had a slightly updated and more accurate movement from its original version. This clock was the Japanese version of the popular “CTS Carnival” Rhythm musical motion wall clock released in the United States, and it is what the current “Concerto Entertainer II” clock was based off of. “Pal Muse Rondeau B” features a mesmerizing dual pendulum motion with fun figurines and details, as well as a rotating wheel just above the demonstration button. LED lights inside of four decorative shapes flash along with each of the 6 J-pop melodies as they play. This was also one of the first musical clocks to receive Rhythm’s signature “Clarion Tone System” (CTS) sound (known as “Aurora” sound in Japan).
This clock is radio-controlled, as many Japanese Rhythm clocks are, but the radio-control function will only work in Japan. So, you will have to set the time manually by pressing and holding the buttons on the back. Click here for a video tutorial I made.
Notes: This model is like-new, open box from my personal collection. There's a small scuff on the left side of the case towards the bottom (as shown in photos), but there are no other physical imperfections. It has been tested for an extended period of time and works perfectly! These songs were only on one other American Rhythm clock (CTS Harlequin released in 2003 and discontinued quickly after), so they are pretty hard to find. It will come double boxed in the original box with its original paperwork.
