Rhythm "Small World Noel (White)" Magic Motion Musical Wall Clock from Japan with Rotating Dial - 4MN509RH03

Embrace the festive spirit of Rhythm’s “Small World Noel” Karakuri clock. Released in 2012, this Japanese version of the “Gala” Magic Motion clock was available in two colors: brown and white. On the hour or when the demonstration button is pressed, 1 of 30 melodies play as the dial rotates 360 degrees to reveal three rotating discs underneath. As they rotate, the discs shimmer and glisten with their iridescent finish, especially the large blue one near the top. Although the Japanese and American models look similar in appearance, their movement slightly differs from one another. The dials on the Japanese versions pause every 90 degrees, whereas the American versions do not. The Japanese version also features the addition of introductory and closing melodies, which were exempt from the American versions. The decorative Swarovski crystal wheel below the face rotates continuously.

This clock is radio-controlled, as many Japanese Rhythm clocks are, but the radio-control function will only work in Japan. So, you will have to set the time manually by pressing and holding the buttons on the back. Click here for a video tutorial I made.

Notes: The clock works and sounds just like new, it looks amazing! There are some small scratches on the gold finish near the demonstration button, see the photos for a closer look.
